Nothing says exceptional like America.

And through years of historical precedent nothing saying you love your country by decking yourself out in all assortments of red, white and blue.  There is, of course, the option of wearing the colors on different items of clothing (think navy blazer, white shirt and red tie).  And then there is the option of wearing threads that were specifically created to remind the rest of the world just how exceptional America is.  Which in the unfortunate case you forgot about that small scientific fact, I ask that you take a few minutes to listen to one of the finest speeches in the history of mankind.

Whichever method you favor one thing is for certain, showing your love for America has never, and will never, go out of fashion.  So to get you started on your quest to display your beloved country’s colors here are a few of the better items out there…

  1. Hi I am inquiring about the Oakley frogskins you feature in this list. Is the extra pair you have still available?

  2. I think it is not in good taste to wear our flag as clothing. It should be displayed in its entirety, possibly in the form of a lapel pin, or simply wear the colors together as you suggested. See the below excerpt from the U.S Flag Code:

The Flag Code addresses the impropriety of using the flag as an article of personal adornment, a design on items of temporary use, and item of clothing. The evident purpose of these suggested restraints is to limit the commercial or common usage of the flag and, thus, maintain its dignity.

While wearing the colors may be in poor taste and offensive to many, it is important to remember that the Flag Code is intended as a guide to be followed on a purely voluntary basis to insure proper respect for the flag.
