Bill's Khakis: Every Man Should Have A Pair

Trousers: Bills Khakis

With all this talk of change in politics and business there are some things that need to remain constant.  Such things include the men’s grill at my club (women are forbidden, its the promised land), the fact that we are all glad we are not like those creatures on the Jersey Shore and the necessity of a great pair of khakis.

Trousers: Bills Khakis

‘We made Bills better by not changing a thing,’ that my friends, is scientific truth.  That my friends, is the motto of Bill’s Khakis.  I will say that the pair of Bills Khakis that I own are the finest pair of khakis I have ever owned and ever worn.  The M1 model, which is the model I own, is the same cut and fit as the U.S. army issued chino from WWII.  Yes, this is the same pant that millions of American’s went over to Europe and Asia and won WWII in, badass.  My favorite attributes of the M1’s are the high quality of construction and materials, the deep pockets, ample leg and crotch room and the longest zipper on any pant I have ever worn.  Bill’s also makes two trimmer models, the M2 and M3.  The comfort of my M1’s has yet to be matched by any other trouser I have worn.

Bill Thomas, the founder of Bills Khakis, officially started his company in 1990 in Reading Pennsylvania, where the company is still headquartered.  In a time when many clothing manufacturers move their production to cheaper and inferior facilities overseas (cough cough, asia, cough), Bills Khakis has not wavered in its stance as a truly American company, a title few companies can appropriately claim. Bill Thomas is a legend.  He is simultaneously preserving the greatness of America and Americana, running a business, making money and having fun doing it. If someone told me that that would be my fate at the age of 49 I would be perfectly happy.

I will leave you all with this epic quote from The Babe in The Sandlot, “Remember kid, there’s heroes and there’s legends. Heroes get remembered but legends never die, follow your heart kid, and you’ll never go wrong.”

Thank you Bill, keep up the good fight,

FYG

FYG would like to note that it was in no way compensated or encouraged in any way shape or form by or from Bills Khakis.  This article was posted out of a love for a great pair of pants.

  1. After contacting Bill Khakis twice and getting no response I decided to contact the Better Business Bureau, I got charged an unauthorized payment. This is what the BBB had to say:

  3. I did order a pair of pants on Dec 22 and tried to contact the company to change my order to no avail, then on Dec 29 I sent them an email asking them to cancel my order. I got charged for the pants on Jan6 and they sent the pants anyways. I tried to call and contact them to get a return label and nothing happened, nobody answers the phone. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and they answered this:
We looked into this complaint made on December 30th.
We are showing that the customer’s order was shipped to him on January 7th and delivered by UPS on January 12th. We were experiencing delays in shipping orders at the end of December and January, as the company was in a transition period and relocating the facility from Pennsylvania to Connecticut. We apologize for the delay in the shipment and the customer was refunded for his order.

    Thank you,

AFTER she wrote that, she went back and got the money again from my Credit Card for which I had to dispute the charges for the second time: so far I am down dollars and they not only lied to the BBB and my Credit Card Company but also to me. It is bizarre how so UN-american company can possibly SCAM customers like this while trying to stay in good terms with the BBB.

CALL TO ALL CUSTOMERS: BILL KHAKIS DOES NOT EXIST, AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE EMAIL ABOVE THIS IS A FACTORY USING A MISNOMER AND SCAMMING PEOPLE WITH THEIR VERY EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS, WHICH GO FROM PANTS TO EVEN SANDALS OR SHOES!!
Please use your wallet some where else.
