Historically known for its bathing suits (with short inseams) Parke & Ronen has spent the past few seasons expanding its line. Continuing along that trend for spring/summer 2013 it is. And from my discussion with Parke Lutter and Ronen Jehezkel before the show that is where the plan to go in future seasons as well. A logical move, for one cannot survive solely off of bathing suits.
Anyway, I’ve liked their bathing suits since I first saw them a few years back, as I am a big fan of bathing suits with short inseams. Although admittedly, most of the stuff on show aside from the bathing suits is not my personal style I respect the pieces and did really enjoy seeing what the two gents kicked out. The ghurka jacket, navy/ivory cardigan and pueple plaid bathing suit (8th picture below) were the highlights for me. The show took place Friday night at Pier 57. I was lucky enough to attend the show and hangout back stage before hand, enjoy the photos (sorry that some are blurry or overexposed). Big thanks to Communa-K and Parke & Ronen for the hospitality.
Cheers,
Justin
