Greetings Readers,
In recent months, as you may have known, I have been devoting a vast majority of my efforts toward Jay Butler. Sadly, The Fine Young Gentleman has been the primary party to suffer from this, posts have slowed and my responses to emails have been delayed. However, progress does continue; both for Jay Butler and The Fine Young Gentleman. At times, said progress occurs simultaneously.
This Thursday, September 17th myself along with a few other GQ Insiders (Leo Chan and Chris Collins) and associates (Brett Fahlgren) will be helping host and style gentleman at an event at the 59th street Bloomingdale’s in NYC. The event will serve as the kick off for a national tailored clothing campaign put on by Bloomingdale’s and GQ at Bloomingdale’s stores across the country. The event will be laden with complimentary beverages, snacks and good times. The event is open to the public.
For my part as The Fine Young Gentleman, I will help guide gentleman through some of the tailored clothing on offer (which from what I understand will be discounted nicely). In other words, I will be offering sound styling advice through the plethora of tailored clothing that Bloomingdale’s has to offer.
And for Jay Butler’s role, Jay Butler was chosen by Bloomingdale’s to provide a gift with purchase for those who spend over a certain amount. The gift will be a Jay Butler card wallet with GQ lettering on it and will be available at many Bloomingdale’s stores across the country. It was a great honor for both myself and Jay Butler to be selected to provide the gifts.
