In its April issue Manhattan Magazine decided to honor a few of whom it deems to be some of the more stylish young gents of the five boroughs in a segment entitled ‘Men Of Style.’ To be honest, upon first reading the segment I had not heard of any of the eight honorees. But upon finishing the article and subsequently meeting a few of the guys I could easily see why each was chosen. They each have their own style that they are confident in and they are kicking ass and taking names in what they do. Hopefully next time they won’t forget about your humble narrator…
To follow up with the article Manhattan Magazine threw a party to honor the gents at Adam Kirsch’s (one of the honorees) bar The Blind Barber. I was lucky enough to be on hand for the event (however, I didn’t have my camera so all pictures have been provided and are courtesy of Jeffrey Fried Photography) and a good time it was indeed. I was also fortunate enough to meet three of the honorees; Adam Kirsch, CK Swett (auctioneer extraordinaire) and Damon Degraff; who was laying down some solid tunes throughout the night. What I like about each of them: they do their own thing and they seem damn happy doing it; enough said.
