Things To Come…

Dear Readers,

I want to give you a heads up on some things to come over the next few weeks.  First, I shall be wrapping up the remaining made to measure suiting series.  Black Lapel and then Mr. Neds.  If all goes as planned we will also have a series on Louis Purple.  As these wrap up, I am going to begin doing some reviews on made to measure/custom shirts; Luxire, Black Lapel and My Tailor and a few of the brands.  Hopefully we will be discussing shoes as well, like those from Scarosso and Meermin.  Additionally, to carry forward from my discussion on my experience at the Tough Mudder there will be some discussion on sports and gym wear; American Giant and Streaker Sports will be two of the brands discussed.  Each with a totally different style and some solid products.  And finally some accessories like pocket squares from Armstrong & Wilson and ties from Louis Walton.

Additionally, a friend of FYGblog, Gentleman’s Gazette, is having a giveaway for a tie from Panta.  From what I hear Panta makes nice ties so a stop by could be worth your while.

Lastly, be sure to stop by the new Tumblr account, The Mood Board.  Although its focus is on menswear, I do tend to cover a wider array of subject matter than here on FYGblog, as it is a more personal outlet.  Everything from quotes to pictures from my travels to graffiti.

Enjoy liberally,

Justin L Jeffers

  1. May I recommend CEGO shirts for your custom shirt series? The owner, Carl Goldberg, is a gentleman and has done some excellent work for me.
