As I was walking through the Lower East Side trying to avoid getting clipped by reckless hipsters on single speed bikes I stumbled across a shooting one of the few TV shows I like, How To Make It In America. If you are not familiar with the show, I recommend you become familiar. The main plot line is about two friends, Ben and Cam, who are trying to start a jean company. As one can imagine, they face all sorts of troubles. Some are funny, some are serious and some are absurd like Cam’s cousin Rene who recently got out of jail and is trying to make a ‘legitimate’ living for himself by promoting an energy drink Rasta Monsta. I could not determine exactly what was being filmed, it appeared to be some publicity thing for Rasta Monsta. That shit needs hit bodegas sometime soon, my prediction is that it will outlawed faster than Fourloko so stock up quickly. Season 2 of How To Make It is due out this summer.
