The times are changing (scary, I know), the menswear blogging/content game isn’t just about written content like it was 6 years ago when I got into this. Now we have Instagram, Snap Chat and YouTube; among other things. In an effort to continue providing all of you with the best content that I can, The Fine Young Gentleman has launched a YouTube channel. A few of you have also requested and encouraged me to begin posting video content, thank you for your support. The videos will cover similar topics that you have been reading about here on the site for the past six years; reviews, how-to’s and style advice.
To start things off, I posted three videos today. Two videos from 2012 that had been sitting in the queue for a few/five years, they are interviews carried out by Patricia Mears from the Ivy Style symposium at F.I.T. featuring Michael Bastian and Claudio Del Vecchio. The third is an interview I did of Raphael from Gentleman’s Gazette back in March during our menswear content creator meet up (big thanks to The Art of Charm for hosting). On a similar note, Raphael also interviewed me and we discussed styling loafers for the spring and summer. Both of which are worth the watch.
Going forward, expect to see videos posted somewhat regularly. Admittedly, I cannot promise consistency in the early stages of this venture as I learn the craft, but I hope to eventually develop a regular posting schedule. Something like the first and third Wednesday each month, for example. If there is something that you would like to see discussed, please let me know in the comments below. In the meantime, I would greatly appreciate it if you ‘subscribed’ to the YouTube channel. Thank you for reading.
