As I came striding out of work circa 11pm Thursday night I spotted this gent. Typically when I exit my building in the southern part of FiDi at that time of night the streets are deserted. But he stuck out like a sore thumb, in a good way.
Although I can’t say I would wear anything that he is wearing (which is purely a matter of differing tastes) I will say this kid pulled this look off quite well. I don’t think there was a lack of genuineness to him. He seemed totally comfortable and at ease when I spoke with him, which one should always feel when dressed. Of particular note one should take into account his use of two cardigans and how the colors of said cardigans tie into the colors of his shoes (note the small sliver of red on the sole and on the Nike label on the tongue). I am generally not a fan of camo, especially when on a tie, but somehow it works here. I don’t really know how, but it does. I could go on, but I’m sure you all get the picture. Well done.
