Over the span of writing FYG I have crossed paths with a variety of people in the menswear world. From established legends to unknown upstarts. I believe there is something to be learned from both categories of people. Justin Fitzpatrick is one of the people in the latter category. Some of you may know him as the writer and brain behing ‘The Shoe Snob,’ which is an excellent blog on mens dress shoes, if I may say so myself. When I was over in London this past summer Mr. Fitzpatrick and I were able to meet and discuss our views on mens dress, our blogs and the shoe company he is trying to start. Well, Mr. Fitzpatrick has since been working on turning his dream into a reality. Recently he received a few prototypes of his models and was nice enough to post a few pictures of one of them. I have the utmost faith in what his brand will offer and am looking forward to them being made available to the general public.
