Parting with the norm of the last few seasons I did not make it to MRket in New York, however, I was fortunate enough to make it to the Las Vegas version, which I had not been to previously. The feel was much the same and there were some of the same brands as New York, which was nice. However, there were also some brands that I had never seen show or never heard of before. And I always like finding new brands I like. Anyway, here’s a recap of some new stuff that caught my attention, in particular brands that I have never seen at the show or heard of before. Look for the goods to hit the web and stores once spring and summer rolls back around.

Mise en scene pt 1Mise en scene pt 2Mise en scene pt 3Circle Of Gentlemen is one of the brands I had not heard of before. Much of the stuff was not my style but they had a few pretty cool pieces, like these suspenders. As a sidenote, they also had the hottest female associates on hand. And this v-neck sweater. And this quilted jacket. Such an aggressive blue. I’d still wear it.
I have always like what Beretta does. They are not starting to push their brand to be more than just a shooting brand, more of a clothing and lifestyle brand. I look forward to seeing what they do.Although this is a women’s piece, it is pretty awesome.
LBM 1911 is a brand I’ve been hearing about for a while, however, this was the first time I was able to see it in the flesh. I like it.This jacket was one of my favorite pieces at MRket. A linen/cotton I believe. Need for next summer.LBM 1911’s bigger brother is Luigi Bianchi Mantova (LBM). Some excellent use of texture and pattern coming from both brands. But LBM really caught my eye.Beautiful fabric.Another of my favorite jackets from the show. The spread.
Blue Lion Apparel had a few brands under its umbrella. The fit looked to be geared more toward a conservative (and hefty) customer, but the use to texture and color was well done.Blue Lion again
The good people over at A Shine & Co. One of the few places I trust to shine my shoes. Heads up to New Yorkers, they are opening an outpost at Chelsea Market on Labor Day.
Ibiza is yet another brand I had not heard of, again, it seems to be geared toward a more hefty and aged audience with the fit. But they had some solid pieces including some half lined jackets.Love this fabric on an Ibiza jacket.More Ibiza
Ever since Bernardo Rojo took the helm at Joseph Abboud the brand has done nothing but get better.Lots of half lined stuff on display in summer fabrics.Need/want.
Dielmar is a Portuguese brand that is just starting to make its entrance into the US market. So far I really like what I see.Imitation croc duffel from Dielmar.Great double breasted.
